HOW TO BOOK

To book your trip of a lifetime, send us an email or WhatsApp message of your preferred dates. All we ask for is a deposit (to book your flight) and a copy of your passport. The remaining balance is paid either 1 week before your tour, or you can pay when you reach Socotra!

Everything you need to know about traveling to Socotra.

A complete trip typically costs $2,500–$4,000 per person including tour, flights, visa, and spending money. The package itself runs $1,500–$2,500 depending on group size, tour package and duration. Flights from Jeddah add roughly $950 per person. Note: there are no ATMs on Socotra — bring USD or AED for tipping and personal spending. USD notes need to be 2011 or newer and in almost perfect condition.

Absolutely. We connect solo travellers with scheduled group departures, keeping costs lower and making the trip more social around the campfire. Private solo tours are also available at higher cost. Most solo guests find the group experience is actually better — Socotra is all about hiking, camping, and sharing wonder.

Yes — most nationalities require a Yemeni visa, which can only be arranged through a licensed tour operator. we handle the full visa process and it’s included in the package.

Flights arrive at Socotra Airport (SCT) in Hadibo via Jeddah, operating Tuesdays on Yemenia. It’s essential to book with us early — seats fill quickly year-round.

Yes. Socotra operates separately from mainland Yemen and has remained peaceful throughout. Thousands of visitors from Europe, the US, and Asia visit annually without incident. We still recommend travel insurance, and we provide full on-the-ground support throughout your trip.

Very limited. There is currently no cell network available to tourists, but you will have Starlink internet on the tour for times you need to be connected. Consider it a digital detox — most travelers say it’s the most refreshing part.

Yes by default — but if you’d prefer not to have one (e.g. you travel frequently to countries that may raise questions), you can request the immigration authority to skip the stamp.

Socotra is one of the most drone-friendly destinations in the world. Restrictions: no flying anywhere close to a village or home and none near the airport. You will need a permit and the Yemeni government charges $100. We get the permit for you and can add the fee to your remaining balance! Please check restrictions in Saudi Arabia as they are more strict.
